Search Index improvements

Good day

3.7 had the option to have index reindexed every time you changed a page. Is this planned for Qn?

Reindex should directly be accessable not via Actions

Last Index Date/Time should be shown

I wonder how long the indexing of a page with 300 pages will take and if you are locked while the page is indexing or if you see some progressbar, or if this is a backend prozesse.

Hello Markus,

The indexing logic will be changed in this Q, so there will be functional changes as well. I will log your requests and we will try to include them.

The index is updated every time you publish a page or content item. The index runs partially when you do this. When you run the entire index it is working in the background, so you should be able to keep working with the cms.
