Detailed logging during Upgrade - Sitefinity - Ideas & Feature Requests

I would like to suggest a feature enhancement which provides additional detailed logging during a Sitefinity Upgrade. Currently, the major steps of the upgrade process are logged (for example for a Sitefinity Upgrade from v. 4.1 SP3 to v. 4.2), however, there is no detailed log of all of the files that were actually modified or replaced during the upgrade process.

It would be immensely useful in reviewing such detailed log files in order to determine how to deploy changes from a development/staging environment to a production environment so that only the required file changes need to be deployed rather than the full website directory.

Thank you for the suggestion. Such feature will also help to diagnose the problems that may occur during the upgrade process. I have logged it in our system as a feature request so our developers can plan its implementation.
