I can find requests for this feature dating back to 2009 with promises of it coming in a future build back in 2011. I do not want to base a template on another template, I want to make an exact copy of a custom created template where I can edit everything about it. Our layouts are pretty complex and starting from scratch on each template is often very time consuming.
