Migration from sitefinity v3.7 to v6.1-Custom modules - Sitefinity - Upgrading Sitefinity

Hi all,
We are planing to migrate from sitefinity v3.7 to v6.1, wanted to understand few things before we migrate.
As we have included few customized modules and also have edited the existing modules according to our needs.
Wanted to understand if there will be any challenges while we migrate to the new version(v6.1)?
How do we included this customized modules in the new version as well?

There hardly is a straightforward answer to your question. It all depends what customizations you've applied to the built-in modules and how your custom ones were implemented. There are resources that could help you with a sophisticated answer to your question. Please refer to the Sitefinity Upgrade Center for a whitepaper and several videos on the upgrade subject.
