Hi , We recently migrated from Sitefinity 5.4 to Sitefinity8.1 but one issue is that it seems to have broken the parent child relationship in one of the custom module. Is there any script that we can use to fix this backend issue.

To explain it in detail

we have create a  banner carousel custom module with parent child relationship

we first create carousels and inside that we put the banneritems

So we had 10 different carousels with different banner items inside these carousels

After the upgrade all the 10 different carousels is displaying all items at once i.e all at the same root  level. and there is no way  to differentiate which banner item belongs to which carousels since all are at the same root level.

Can you please help how to restore the same relationship as was set earlier.

Hi Sunny,

We will need some more details in order to find what is causing this issue.

Are there any exceptions logged into Error.log or UpgradeTrace.log file during the upgrade?
When you open a carousel are there any failing service calls or JavaScript errors?
