Checkout: shipping options display order

When multiple shipping providers such as UPS and FedEX are configured, the shipping options are displayed in an order that makes little sense:

  1. FedEx Ground Shipping $6.07
  2. Next Day Air Early AM $85.50
  3. FedEx 3 Day Express Saver Shipping $16.30
  4. UPS Next Day Air Priority $50.16
  5. FedEx 2nd Day Air Shipping $18.30
  6. UPS Next Day Air Saver $42.01
  7. FedEx Standard Overnight Shipping $31.70
  8. UPS 2nd Day Air $28.84
  9. FedEx Priority Overnight Shipping $53.50
  10. FedEx First Overnight Shipping $64.05
  11. UPS 3 Day Saver $22.46
  12. UPS Ground $10.76

I would expect these to be displayed grouped by carrier in least to most order.  So, FedEx Ground to FedEx First Overnight then UPS Ground to UPS Next Day Air Priority.

Is there any way to change this?

Thanks--Steve

Hello Stevev,

You can change the Sort order of the shipping services in settings section. Navigate to Backend->Administration->Settings->Advanced->Shipping->ShippingServiceSettings and you can set the SortOrder of the Services. If you are using multiple Shipping providers like FedEx and UPS you can just assign 1-n for FedEx and then from n+1 - m for UPS.
