The price control is rendering out the price wrapped in

"<contenttemplate></contenttemplate>"

Yup, when switching to a RadAjaxPanel from a regular asp - they forgot that it doesn't have a <ContentTemplate>.

Maybe we get lucky and can soon re-compile the default templates otherwise you need to break open the Telerik.Sitefinity.Ecommerce.Resources.Templates.Frontend.Catalog.Fields.DisplayPriceField.ascx file.
