how do I recover an abandoned cart

Is there a way to recover abandoned carts ?  

We require users to log in before they can shop.  

If I add some items to my cart, then log back in from a different browser, I'd like to be presented with my unfinished cart.   The un-checked-out cart must be in the DB someplace... right ?   Associated with a userId?

Hey Tim,

Shopping carts are stored session based and don't get tied to a user until you proceed to checkout.
