Discount Criteria

Is there a way to prevent a discount from applying to a certain product or department? For example, one could purchase a year of a certain level of membership to a site that could receive a discount. That product for membership, however, should not have the discount applied to it for the renewal for the next year.

Right now there are limitations in the discount module that would prevent such a configuration. At this time we are looking at ways to increase the flexibility and out-of-the-box configurations for the discount widget. There is no release version yet for these changes but your use case will be forwarded to the developers for consideration.

In the meantime you can look into our API for a custom discount implementation.
