Deployment on windows 2003 iis Version 5.2 - Sitefinity - On Premise – Configurations & Setup

Hi,
I tried to deploy my sitefinity project on a server with windows 2003 and iis 6.0 Url rewriting does not work.
I can only see the first page and that also is showing the ".aspx" extension
I have followed the procedure provided in
www.sitefinity.com/.../deploying-sitefinity-projects-to-shared-hosting.aspx

can you please tell me if I am missing something

Hello Moiz,

Are you getting any errors when you run the project? Generally we do not use url rewriting, we use ASP.NET routing and extension less urls by design.

Hi Ivan,

Well Last night I managed to resolve the error. I had to put the default site to framework 4.0, This enabled the routing and since I was using windows 2003 server so I had to give it a new Application Pool which would run the services.
