Hi

What are the hosting requirements for SF?

Will SF work in "medium trust" hosting?

Thanks

Hi John,

Please take a look at our System Requirements. You can find a listing of our hosting partners here. Medium trust is not supported since we use Windows Workflow Foundataion. WWF does cannot run in Medium Trust.

So GoDaddy is not an option?  When looking at your list of hosting partners what packages do we need to purchase to get SF 4.1 on a host?

Thanks in advance,
 Ryan

Hi ,

The plan that you are going to choose depends on many factors. It is not the same if you are going to have website with 50 pages and 2k pages and single instance of IIS or NLB environment. You should specify some minimum requirements for the website and looking at the base system requirements you should consult with your host about the proper plan and price for it.

Hello Ivan,

Is this hosting partners list provided by "Radoslav" means that GoDaddy is not going to work?

Thanks.

Hi Amrelsayed,

The fact that GoDaddy are not hosting partners does not mean that Sitefinity will not run there. You need to have a hosting which covers the System Requirements and you will not have problems.
