Telerik.Sitefinity was not granted ManageLicenses in Backend

I've recently upgraded from 4.3 to 5.0 and got everything working on localhost.  When i publish and deploy everything to the production server I get to the License Activation screen. Which is fine. However, I've tried both uploading the license and my sitefinity login but continue to receive the following error:

Telerik.Sitefinity.Security.Data.StaticRoot, Telerik.Sitefinity was not granted ManageLicenses in Backend for principals with IDs 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hopefully you got this resolved, but just in case anyone else runs across this. I just received this error when updating from 4.3 1885 -> 5.0 2800. The problem appears to be caused because I accessed the site originally via the IP Address. Nothing I did after that seemed to help, including accessing it via the url.

We resolved this by rolling back the database to 4.3 and running the update again via the url on the license. We weren't even prompted for activation this time
