Hi,

 I have downloaded the community edition of sitefinity and although i can run sitefinity via the VS IDE, when i publish the site to a server running IIS 6, i am just not able to view the web site. When i try and navigate to the default.aspx i am getting a 404 (Resource cannot be found). This cant be right because i know the page does exist. 

I have followed the guidelines as specified to ensure appropriate environment is set in IIS but still getting issues.

 Has anyone encountered this before? Any help/advise would be helpful.

Hi Pranay,

Can you let us know what steps have you followed for setting the site on IIS 6? Can you confirm that the followed steps are as in described in the following blog post, as the reported issue seems to be a configuration problem:
