Can SF 4.0 be upgraded to 9.1 directly?

Or is an incremental upgrade the proper way to go.

With incremental I would have to do more than a dozen upgrades which seems too much work.

BTW. I just took over support a few months ago. I never would have waiting 5 years before upgrading... Arg.................
