Editor Translations for old pages

I created two pages
Added languages
logged admin out

logged in as editor

Editor has no translation function for old pages
Seems to have them for pages created after langueages were added.

Created another editor does not seee the Translation options at all

It seems to be an permission problem of mine

Editor 2 can not edit a page by editor 1.

However looking at the permissons for all pages I would have thought it should be possible. (Workflow related)

I had the user in author role only and not in editor.
