Setup project failure

Hi,

Just to let you know:
If I save my new SF project in a folder like this one:

- D:\Projects\Egz\Egz.Web.Cms

Then I cannot access the startup screen from the SF Project Manager.
When I click 'Go to Administration', I get the page that says: Thank you for visiting our web site.

When I setup the project in a folder like this one:

- D:\Projects\Egz\Cms

Everything goes okay.

Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I came across the same problem some time ago. Very unexpected and weird behavior, but at least google brought the answer very quickly.

I suppose this must have something to do with the way Sitefinity resolves URLs.

Regards,
Matt

Hi,

The problem is indeed in the way how Sitefinity resolves the URLs. The solution is to remove all dots from the project directory or project name. We have this logged for fixing.

Apologies for the inconvenience.
