Advanced Silverlight Widget Tutorial - Book doesn't disp

When viewing a page with the widget all I'm getting is an Aqua colored box. I've completed everything prior to the section "Extend the Book widget to pass settings to the Silverlight Control" (the tutorial says it should work without having to complete that section).

I know the GetImages() function in Book.cs works because I added a break point. Being new to Sitefinity and Silverlight I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you check if there are any items added to return results; that is called at the end of the method.
