CE Update gone bad?

Updated a CE test project 4.0.1098.0.

From what I can see in the SF PM it has gone bad (see attachments)

a) no I did not make a backup (test project and I though it might just simply work)
b) no I dont feel like investigating or further testing
c) exceptions.log has no infor at all about this update.

If this would have been a real project. How would I get the backup to show up in the SF PM again?

Hi Markus Berchtold,

In order to restore project you should do following

1. Restore your archive in your project folder(you main need to stop IIS)
1a. If you are using SQL server restore your database(If you are using sqlexepress, the database is in the project folder and you should skip this step)
2. Find projects.xml file located in the same place where sitefinity.exe is located. Open it set the build number version to the version of bin\Telerik.Sitefinity.dll

All the best,
the Telerik team

Thanks

However

1) the projects.xml showed still the old version number untill I opened sitefinity.exe
2) I have crated another site (file based) and this site is not even in the xml
