Page templates generates object reference not set to an inst

We have a site and were collectively working on it.  Somehow, we went in to view our page templates we had created, and were instead presented with a popup saying object reference not set to an instance of an object.  Closing it forces another to popup.

The issue we are having does not appear to be related to this:

We're behind now because of this, and now cannot edit any of our templates.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a service log uploaded into the support ticket I created that details the error.

We have had similar problems where there was some data inconsistency. In order to be able to tell what is exactly the problem with the page templates section we will need you to enable web service tracing on your website, reproduce the error and send us the service trace.
