Hi all,

Sitefinity is promoting this in its feature list:

"Sitefinity supports extremely granular security that allows unique user-level permissions to be attached to everything in the CMS from a single content item, to pages and CMS settings and configuration."

This is NOT true. - My hope was that this issue was solved with SF 4.1 SP1 - but sorry, NOT !!! I started a test website with this newest release from scratch but my result is negative.

Hi RobertZ121,

We have fixed the problem with the permissions applied on layouts/widgets, and the fix will be available in this week's internal build.
