Linking in documents - Sitefinity - Bugs & Issues

In the HtmlField editor when I select some text then click to link it to a document, then select the document...the link text should stay as the text I selected, not the document name

Getting annoying, I keep having to go into HTML mode to fix it

Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused by this issue. This is a bug in our system and we are aware of it. We're still working on providing a fix for it, and it will be included in one of our upcoming releases.
