Back-end sporadically loads/performance issues - Sitefinity - Bugs & Issues

Hi there,

When I log on to the back-end of my site it sometimes it hangs forever, though occasionally it will load normally. This behaviour seems to occur randomly and across all browsers. When I do eventually get into the backend and select page I want to edit, the site just hangs and never allows me to access the edit page.

Im using sitefinity 4.1 sp2 with IIS version 7.5.

Hardware:

8 gb ram
i7 processor
windows 7

Hello Peter,

You could check service tracer log after the edit mode hands following this article.

Check App_Data/Sitefinity/Configuration/Logs folder for errors thrown at the same time.
If there are some errors they would dive some more details what the problem is.
