Hi,

http://192.168.1.50:1377/subsidiaries  (works fine)
http://192.168.1.50:1377/subsidiaries#v1 (Page keep loading in FF-firefox)

Can you please check this. I have to use # link in my functionality please provide some work around.

I am using sitefinity 4.1 SP3

Dear Waqar

SF 4.2 hat an hotfix for this? Which would require you to update.
Also check if you have extra urls (Titels & Settings). At least 4.2 has a bug of adding extra URL when you drag a page around a bit in the navigation. Resulting in loops.

So first since you are on 4.1 something. Check if you have extra URL. If yes try romove them and see if that helps.

PS: Sorry did not read your post all the way. It might not be related to what I just wrote. Sorry

Hello Wagar,

I have tried to reproduce the issue on our local environment, but with no success. The page that I created for the purpose was not looping on load. Can you provide further information on your scenario? If possible please attach screenshots of the issue. I have used Firefox 5 for the purpose, can you tell me if the issue is reproducible using other browsers as well?

Hi ,

The issue seems to be with Sitefinity v.4.1.X,  when I checked #tab on other website, which are on SF v.4.1.X, they are also having the same issue:

Website with #tab Issues:
http://www.rohmuscat.org.om/programmes/performances#tab-section (Sitefinity 4.1.1395.0 SE)
http://msdf.org/programs#tab-section (Sitefinity 4.1.1405.0 PE)

Meanwhile, if you check this on SF v.3.X or v 4.2, it’s working fine.

Website working fine with #tab:

http://www.du.ae/en/mobile/handsets/blackberry-mobile/tariff-guide#tab-section (Sitefinity 3.7.2096.2:1)
http://www.gazprom-energy.com/uk/products-services/gas/fixed-purchasing#div (Sitefinity 4.2.1650.0 SE)

Can you please suggest some workaround for this?

Hi Waqar,

I have opened the two websites you suggested, but could not reproduce the issue - the websites did not start loop again. However in our last releases ( 4.2 official ) and also the latest SP1 for 4.2 there were numerous fixes related to the page links so I can suggest you to upgrade your projects as you may be experiencing bugs that are already fixed.

All the best,
