Save draft not saving, only publish with Form Builder

Hi,

we have a user who's attempting to save a draft of a form. They create a brand new form, drag a single textbox in, hit 'safe draft' and the message displays success at the top. But when they go back and then reopen the page the textbox is gone and the form is blank again.

Frustrating that this handy feature is there, message says it has save, but nothing happens.

Hi Charles,

I have tried to reproduce the issue but with no luck - when the form is saved as a draft and reopend the textbox is there. Please check the attached video. Also can you replicate the problem using brand new project? What version do you use?

We are experiencing the exact same issue. When creating a Form with a number of form elements - save draft, then reopen it at a later time - everything is missing.

Hi Scott,

The problem exists in 4.1 1501 indeed. However the bug was fixed in later editions of Sitefinity. I would suggest you to upgrade to our newest version of Sitefinity as there are many new features introduced, a lot of bugs fixed and optimizations included.

Thanks for the reply Victor

In a perfect world - we could upgrade clients as needed or even have CMS features that are QA'd and tested prior to deploying... But upgrading clients involves a lot of redtape, syncing databases as well as deploying development environments for testing. I will let our clients know this has been fixed in upcoming releases.

Thanks again.
