broke the admin area by adding a custom field

hi,

i added a custom field (using the ImageField) to the news module using the advanced settings. now, when i try to go to the news area, the page is always loading and never returns.

how can i remove the custom field through another area (i can't get to the advanced settings as the page never loads)? i've done so much work on the site that rolling back to the backup would be really bad.

any tips would be appreciated!

Are you sure you don't have extra urls by any chance pointing to the same page?
