Taxonomies for Lists in Sitefinity 4.2 - Sitefinity - Bugs & Issues

Hi There,
We have created a FAQ list for a website which uses Sitefinity 4.2 SP1 (4.2.1733). Same as other modules we tried to set Categories and Tags for Items, but the problem is it doesn't save taxonomies for list items!

In other projects this problem solved when we migrated to newer versions, but we could not upgrade this project at the moment so the question is: is there anyway to fix this issue without migrating to newer versions?
Maybe a Sitefinity.dll file in same version which doesn't have this problem?!
