Limit Characters in News Widget - Sitefinity - Bugs & Issues

In older versions of sitefinity there is an option to limit the amount of characters shown in the news summary. Is it possible to do this in 4.x?

Hi,

You can go to Content >> News >> Custom Fields for news >> Click on Summary >> Limitations and set a min and max range for the News item.

Hi,
I have inseeted limitations minimum '1' and maximum 450 , if it's exceed it should be alert /error message . i have alrady write the error message in the filed but its not displyed.

any changes required.
