ImagesView\DownloadListView Throw exceptions in external tem

If you only have your .ascx and .ascx.cs file, and you right-click the ascx to generate the .designer file...if you have either an ImagesView or a DownloadListView control in the template you'll get this popup error and the designer file will not be generated

If you then delete those controls and try to generate the designer file...all goes fine.
