Module Builder:Loss of content on new field

(In an already built module)

1) Add image selector field (can select multiple images)
2) Save, edit a content item, select some images, Save
3) Go back to module builder, add ANOTHER image selector field, this time make it just accept one image, Save
4) Edit the same item you did before.

Result (at least here): The multi-selector is empty, but the single selector has one of the images from the multi-select.  So had I had a couple hundred content items you could see where this would be amazingly frustrating :)

This s a known pits issue in Sitefinity Module Builder. We tried to fix it on several occasions but it isn't as simple as it looks and more effort will be required for resolving it. That's why it is still opened. However if you add all of the media fields when creating the module you won't have such problems.
