Publishing and Uploading Image Problems -- Solution

Problem:
When you go to publish a web page, or save an uploaded image you get the following error in a pop up: "You are trying to access item that no longer exists. The most probable reason is that it has been deleted by another user"
or
an error on the System.ServiceModel.CommunicationExeption: The server did not provide a meaningful replay etc etc....

Solution:
Check the following settings:  Administration --> Settings --> Advanced --> System -- ServicePaths.  Make sure this setting has your website URL: http://www.somesite.com 

We host our own sites.  Sitefinity was not finding it's own web service, mostly likely because the way our network is setup.
