Breadcrumb should respect "Detail Items"

If I'm on page

home/events
(with breadbrumb of Home -> Events)

then I click an event

home/events/event1

the breadcrumb should be
Home -> Events -> Event 1

...so I can use that to nav back to all events

Second that one. Breadcrumb needs to pick up detail items, otherwise you cannot call this widget "breadcrumbs"

I agree with that too. The way News widget (in Automatic or Detail mode) catches the url name of the item and show details, breadcrumb should do the same.

I need a working breadcrumb.  Can the current breadcrumb be customized to respect Detail Items?

  Nooope :/  I put in a ticket, here's what they said

"The problem is coming from missing implementation of the breadcrumb
because it is working with sitemap for the pages shown in breadcrumbs,
but detail views of module items are not active sitemap pages to be part
of the sitemap as this will produce a performance problem when having
too large sitemap.

<UNREAL>The visibility of the breadcrumb for a current details view of module
item is a feature that is not planned for a release </UNREAL> and it will not be
available for sitefinity 5.2, but for future release and of course the
more votes it receives the higher its priority."
