Custom login control template

Hi, I'm getting the following error but I'm afraid to post the full stack trace. Whenever I do I make the thread useless as the thread servers an opps error and no one will be able to read what I have to say. This is the error message.......
C001: LayoutTemplate does not contain an IEditableTextControl with ID UserName for the username

To get the broken links to work you should be able to remove the -4-x out of the address and it will work.
