Mutli-language radmenu not working for redirecting pages

Hi,

I'm using sitefinity 5.0.
We are having a problem, our site is in 2 languages.

In the menu we have language A and it displays fine in the menu with all the sub-menu's.
Then we created the pages for language B for the same menu BUT it does not want to display in the menu. All pages display for language B EXCEPT the redirecting pages for language B.

I'm attaching an image to demonstrate. Is this a bug from Sitefinity?
Is there a way to work around it for now?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Gerrit,

Multi-lingual group pages and redirects tend to cause some headaches yes, easiest way to avoid them is by not creating redirect pages, yet turn them into actual pages and drop a 301 widget on them. That way, for each language version 'page data' exist...

If you are redirecting to sitefinity internal pages the pages you redirecting to must show in navigation, otherwises the redirect pages will also not show (even if you tick show in navigation)

As an further approach (not nice) you can redirect to the http:// of your internal page because redirect pages will always show (if shown in navigation is checked) if redirecting to external pages.

It has been on my wishlist for a long time that redirect pages can be shown in navigation if they redirect to SF pages that do not show in navigation.

I couldn't find the original post earlier this morning but if you take a look at this forum post:

It'll show you that its not a bug, but a system limitation and explain why...

Thank you for your replies, this radmenu really gives me some problems.
Really hope they will fix it soon, it feels for me like a basic function and yet it lack some functionality.

Will let you know if I still have problems.

Hi guys,

Got it sorted now, changed the pages to normal pages and added a script that says : window.location.href = 'www.mysite.com/url-to-go-to';

This seems to work, but its a but of a dirty way :)
