Errors in Sitefinity 5.1 SP2
Hey guys,where is your excellent service ? After 8 months no answer, no vision. See the PITS how much uncorrected errors are in. The customers are really angry !! Finally stop developing new features and concentrate on correcting errors in the product !!!

Hello Pavol,
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
I must say that I agree with you - there are some issues even with 5.1 SP2, but we had to implement the two new big features for 5.2. I am happy to let you know that we are planning to have 5.3 in December, which will be entirely focused on bug fixing and PITS issues, with no new big features. We are also planning to have 5.2 SP1 with again polishing, rather than new stuff. So to recap, in the next 3 months we are only going to push service releases.
We apologize for the negative experience, but I am happy to see that we are aligning with your expectations.
Hi Georgi,
the Sitefinity releases since 4.0 release are really disassters !!! Latest really stable version was 3.7 SP4. I have two "even" customers. They will move to 5.x version, but .... both need multilanguage sites. I start develop for one of them. The templates ready. Content from customer also. Great lets start fill the site ... great in one language all works fine. After i add pages in other language the pages order is in every language other !!! I reorder it in slovak ... seems fine, switch in backend to english, the page order (structure) is again other in english. I hate work with Sitefinity. Where is the "Deliver more as expected" /was not mean errors/ ?!!!!!
@Georgi,
Great to hear that 5.3 will include bug fixes only. Thanks for that! I hope you'll include not only bug fixes, but very obvious missing features as well (e.g. features that were included in 3.x), and complete documentation. That will ease lots of frustration I guess. I hope and expect Telerik to be 100% committed to that task. If it should require spending 5.4 on this as well, please do so.
It would be great to see the 5.3 roadmap so that people can be reassured that you're fixing the things they want.
I'm looking forward to a community that will then have the chance to mainly discuss enhancements and regular questions, rather than bugs. It will be positive for Telerik, existing and new customers.
Hi Georgi, here the fixes presented by Sitefinity 5.2 SP1 realese, one of the issues was reporter by me also. The problem with page ordering was reported as resolved, but the bug is still remain in SP1 release. What's up with quality, which was always delivered and honored.
Greetings,
Pavol
