As referenced in: www.sitefinity.com/.../streaming-videos-on-ios-devices

We have mp4 videos stored in Sitefinity's documents, and want to access them via an HTML5 compatible player.  Even though IIS is set to return the correct mime type (video/mp4) Sitefinity is returning the videos with the mime type of application/octet-stream.

How do we get Sitefinity to serve these videos with the correct mime type?

Hello Tim,

There is a know issue with mp4 files in Sitefinity. Here is the link to the PITS issue which you can use to track its progress and vote to increase its popularity.

Please excuse us for the caused inconvenience.

The link you provided does not take me to the right page.  Has this been resolved?  I am having the same issue currently and want to know if there has been a resolution.  Please advise.
