Unable to create pages in Sitefinity 5.1 - Sitefinity - Bugs & Issues

Hi

I am unable to create a page or page group at the root of the Pages section in Sitefinity 5.1.3450.0. I see a dialog box with shows "Return code: 0".

Here is what is recorded om the error log:

I tried the fix suggested in the following link but still it did not solve the problem.

Of course, I replaced the following line in the Page_Load event handler

FixPermissionInheritance(typeof(BlogPost), typeof(BlogPost));

FixPermissionInheritance(typeof(PageNode), typeof(PageNode));

ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX THIS?? PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

We upgraded to Sitefinity 5.3 and the bug is fixed.
