Pages List Never Populates

That's it - I just updated a title, meta description, and meta keywords to a page, nothing special, and now the pages won't show up.  When I click on pages at the top of the screen, the loading bar appears and it never stops loading...?

I'm not sure what was wrong, I went to the App pool, stopped it, started it, and now it lists the pages again.
