IE 9, Users Page, Scroll prevents user selection

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this.  we are running SF 5.3.  

Testing IE 9 on the users page.  if i scroll down to users that are at the bottom of the page (off the screen) and click the users name to add them to a role, the page scrolls up to the top of the list and does not go into the users properties. 

this happens when ever i scroll before selecting a link, up or down.  essentially i cant select any users that are below the bottom of the screen because it keeps scrolling back up to the top. 

Happens for both the mouse wheel or the scroll bars.

i have only noticed it on this page with IE 9.  Chrome, FF or Safari dont do it.

if i click a link without scrolling first i can go into the users properties. 

any one else noticed this?
