Browsing local file system in Sitefinity v. 6.0.4210

I remember that in earlier versions of Sitefinity (v. 3.7x), I could browse the local file system to insert and create hyperlinks (such as links to images or documents).

However, in Sitefinity v. 6.0.4210, I am unable to browse the local file system at all and I would like that functionality back since I found it very useful and infinitely more reliable than attempting to use the Sitefinity Modules to always manage content.

Therefore, how can I get this functionality back?
