Sitefinity 6.0.4210.0 page edit freezes

I have created a very simple custom control is Visual basic using Visual Studio 2010 that has 1 public property and 1 label. I migrated the control using Thunder to a Sitefinity instance running on my local computer. I created a new page using the custom control with no issues. If I the attempt to edit this page in Sitefinity the page starts to load but never completes. I can not publish, edit, add new widgets, etc. By the way, this occurs in IE10 and Google Chrome.

HELP????

I upgraded to version 6.1.4300 and this no longer occurs.
