Every time when I change any file, sitefinity re-starts, which takes about 5mins!

I have changed all modules startup type to first request. What's the matter?

I'm working with support on this now...well trying anyway...do me a favour if you could.

When the site is on it's way back up, keep your task manager open and sort it alphabetically. Keep your eye on the "Cs", specifically watch for "csc.exe" to keep popping up...it should appear then disappear a bunch over the course of the load. Site should come to life when that stops happening though.

Let me know if this happens

(Also, do you have a lot of SimpleView\Custom controls at all?)
