Label change - have to edit Description in order to Save Changes

We noticed a bug when changing a label in the Labels and Messages. We're using Sitefinity 6.1. This bug only appears to happen when the site is in single-language mode.

When trying to change a label's text, the "Save changes" button does not work if we just edit the label text itself (example: change "Go comment!" to "Read more"). However, the change is saved if we edit the Description, then click the Save button by the changed description.

This change appears to only happen when the site has a single language. We are able to edit labels (without editing the description) and save changes fine for the "Invariant Language (Invariant Country)" once the different languages are chosen.

Hi Jennifer,

Could you give me more information about the Sitefinity edition you are experiencing this problem in?
I'm using a Sitefinity 6.1 freshly built project and just opened the "Go Comment!" label, switched the label text to Read More, the "Save Changes" button was enabled all the time and allowed me to save all as expected. Perhaps this can be reproduced on specific SF edition?
