Simple malformed HTML markup can break Sitefinity backend

Sitefinity 6.2.

1. Create an OOTB Content Block item.
2. Enter the following in HTML mode: "<a href="[breaksitefinity.com">bug. Notice the "[".
3. Save.
4. Click on the item you just created. You'll get a dialog box with "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.". When you click "OK" on the dialog box, you'll end up back to the list of Content Blocks. There is no way to edit the content anymore.
