insert Flash into content block

Looks like a bug.

Following this KB entry:

www.sitefinity.com/.../inserting-swf-flash-files-into-a-content-block

uploaded a .swf file on the server. However, when using the Flash Mgr in the content block, the "insert" or "delete" buttons do not show up!

Firefox 28/Windows 7 Pro/Sitefinity 6.3

Please advise if it's a bug, or if there's an update to the Flash insertion process.

Thanks,

Hi Ara,

The inserting flash feature is still working. However, there are no insert and cancel buttons, but you double click to add the .swf file in the content block and then you can select it and press delete to remove it from the content block. Keep in mind that the KB is from 2011 and is specially shown for Sitefinity 4.0, so there are certain differences in the UI from then and now, for Sitefinity 6.3. I have uploaded a video for you to show you the current behavior of the flash insert in content block.

Honestly I didn't try to "double-click" to insert the Flash file because we moved away from using Flash at this point. IMO, you should reinstate the buttons though since it makes the process less intuitive without them.

Thanks for your help.
