Form validation in 6.3 - Sitefinity - Bugs & Issues

It appears there's a bug with the validation in the Forms widget.

For a simple contact form as a test, we used the built-in validation for some text input fields. Selected "required" and Expected Format: AlphaNumeric resulted in errors when actually inserting text, returning "non alphanumeric not allowed...".

Is this a bug or something we are doing wrong?
