Linking Bugs

I've found two bugs in version 7, both when inserting links using the content editor:

 1) Using both the admin-side and frontend publishing methods, additional <br> tags are added after the content. Sometimes it's two, sometimes three.

 2) When using front-end editing/publishing, when you add a hyperlink in the content editor it adds a style="cursor: text;" on the anchor tag. (see screenshot for example).

Any fix for these in the works?

 Thanks,
Greg

Hello Greg,

I managed to reproduce the second issue you have reported and logged it as a bug in our bug tracking system. Hopefully we will be able to provide a fix for our future releases. Here is a link where you can track the progress of the bug and vote to increase its priority.

However, I am afraid I am not able to reproduce the issue when I edit the hyperlinks in a content block from the backend. Here is a short video demonstrating the steps I took to reproduce the issue. Can you please let me know if I am missing something out?

I also am having a problem with <br /> being added - but it happens every time I open (edit) the content block, regardless of whether or not there is a hyperlink.

This happens in all of my content blocks. See demo here.

I can see this happening in Chrome using Sitefinity V8.1.

When an <img /> tag is wrapped by an <a /> tag, the <a /> tag will have style="cursor:text;" after saving the page.

Same behavior in Firefox.
