Default.aspx page in subfolder, non CMS page

It appears that if we have any page that is not part of the CMS and it's name is default.aspx you get a Failed to Execute URL. If you change that pages name to anything else it loads fine. What do we need to do to resolve this issue? I'm guessing there is some magic behind the scenes happening but I can't find out where. Note these are all in their own subfolders.

Hello David,

I could not reproduce the error on the latest Sitefinity version. From other, hand Default.aspx file in the Sitefinity project must not be changed. It should be kept as it is by default.

So as you mentioned, you can use files with another name.
