can't link external js

Hi,

i am using 7.0.5100 version of sitefinity, i am new with sitefinity,

i am not able to link my external javascript files from my local folder, "~/App_Data/Sitefinity/WebsiteTemplates/Test/App_Themes/TestProj/js/", but i tried like this "~/js/" means the js folder i kept just outside of App_Data folder. So it's not compulsory to follow folder structure..? 

Hi Anish,

You are not required to place your javascript files within the WebsiteTemplates folder. You can keep them in your preferred location.

For including the references you can use the ResourceLinks widget. This utility widget can also be used for adding jQuery or another built-in library.
