I don't know how I did this or if this is a bug. If I add images I get invalid XHTML spit out.

Attribute displaymode not allowed on element img at this point.

If I set the image to be custom it gets even worse.

Me or SF?

Hello Markus,

I am trying to replicate the issue on my side but without any success. Can you please give us more details on how exactly you reproduce the problem in order to be able to follow the same steps and check if the issue is caused by Sitefinity? Does the issue occurs when you change the displaymode attribute of the image to custom?

Hello Markus,

The attributes in the image tag of Content block are necessary for correct functioning of that option.

There is a logged issue in our Feedback portal logged as feature request for hiding/removing that attributes on the frontend where you could vote for it and subscribe for receiving notifications on status change.

Dear Svetoslav

Am I understanding correct?

Sitefinity is spitting out invalid XHTML code and you tell me in order to get it "fixed" we have to vote for it - and its a feature request and nota bug?

Pretty ridiculous that it can't output valid html.
