If you want a textbox without title a user would asumely simply delete all the text, bringing back the default. In order to have not text the user needs to enter an space which is not very userfriendly.

Hello Markus,

I was able to replicate this behavior on an blank Sitefinity 7.1 project. We have already logged this as a bug and it was recently verified by our QA engineers that persist in version 7.1. Please check the following link where you can track the status of this bug.

Can't have form widgets with empty labels

Some anwers just make me smile. QA confirms it persist in version 7.1 :-)

A bug reported in September 2011 -> 3 years ago.

I guess we just wait another 3 years and see if it disapears than by itself. Maybe if someone would actually look at such bugs and fix them they could save some time for us (developers) and your as well.
